New Installment of Mail from around the World

Here is a new group of mail and postal art sent to me. Much of this has been sent here to Berlin but a couple pieces where sent to me last year to the old Lancaster address after I moved to Berlin.

The stamp on the Elke Grundman piece of the Berlin cityscape was carved by me at a stamp art session on the 24th of April 2012 and I gave it to Elke. It is very cool that she has been using it on postal art pieces.

And of course there is a new "waterdrop" piece from Bo Kim which is where she is putting drops of water on paper and sending them in the mail in envelopes.

I have included a letter sent to me by Burt Beowolf (who I have been in contact with back in the old days when I ran a crust punk record label and zine in Dallas Texas in 1999). Burt sends envelopes filled with random cuttings, business cards, ads from newspapers and often metal promo stuff. Sometimes these letters make me think of the boxes of random things that Andy Warhol put together.

There are of course many other great artists and people who sent stuff in the this group much of which I have talked about in older posts or I will in future posts as I slowly catch up in all this documentation of mail and art I receive.
